Shonan Hiratsuka Tanabata Festival

Shonan Hiratsuka Tanabata Festival is one of the Japan’s largest and most famous Tanabata celebrations, held annually in Hiratsuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
During the festival, numerous colorful Tanabata decorations are displayed, mainly around the shopping streets in the city center, enveloping the entire city in a vibrant atmosphere.
Visitors can experience traditional Japanese culture while enjoying a variety of family-friendly events, including parades, lively stage performances, and local food stalls.
